We're ready for Spring

The weather has been so gorgeous lately.

And Grace said she really needed some pretty flowers.  So we made a trip to Home Depot and she picked "the hot pink ones" and Faith selected some purple flowers.  Then we came home and planted them in our pot.

So far Grace is taking her gardening responsibilities quite seriously.

She must get her green thumb from her granddaddy because all of her Momma's flowers turn brown.

Bee, please come take up residence in this tiny little house so you can pollinate our lemon tree.

Grace painted these birdhouse windchimes today.

 And wanted to hang it outside on our lemon tree.  Which is in full bloom by the way.

 And then along came a little bumblebee.

Grace informed me, "That bee is a pollinator! "

 Go ahead little Bee, please pollinate all my lemon blossoms.

We're hoping for a bountiful harvest this fall.
