July 4 decorations and activities

In preparation for Independence Day, Grace and I made some July 4 decorations.
We used buttons and scrap paper (and lots of glue!) to make this pinwheel garland.
And we made these little rockets from toilet tissue rolls.  And more scrap paper and glue.
Don't they look darling?  And they were sooo easy to make!
The rockets even had a long fuse made from twine.
And when that fuse was pulled, homemade confetti popped out!
Confetti is always fun.
Even Faith enjoyed it.
Of course, Faith likes making messes.
What a fun way to celebrate the anniversary of our great nation's independence.
