Apparently it snowed in all 50 states today including our small Southern town of Daphne, Alabama. For those of you who don't know, we moved from Omaha, Nebraska to Daphne this past fall.
We moved for here for 3 primary reasons:
1. For an awesome job opportunity for David.
2. To be closer to family.
3. To get away from snow!
If we lived much further south in Alabama, we'd be living on a boat in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. Needless to say, snow isn't very typical of this small town. However, it snowed today.
And it snowed enough to build this snowman. But at least he's got the Mardi Gras spirit!
