The art of eating beignets

First you order your beignets.

Then the heavenly sweetness arrives.

So you take a small piece and let the anticipation build.

And you take your first bite.  Mmmm.

It's so hot and soft and sticky and good.  Just scrumptiously delicious.

You dip that bite back in the powdered sugar for a second taste of sinful sweetness.

Be sure to pile it on - the sugar is what makes it so good!

Again, be sure to savor the moment before that luscious sticky sweetness hits your mouth.

In fact, why bother taking a bite of the dough at all?

Just lick the sugar.  It's the best part, right?

In fact, why even waste your time with the beignet?

Just enjoy the sugary goodness.

It's finger lickin' good.

Or better yet, why expend the effort  of licking fingers when you can just lick the plate instead?

And don't forget to wash your hands when all the sugar and beignets are gone.  That, of course, is the most critical step.
