Today was a pretty low key day. David had to go to work so the rest of us just hung out. We went to Wal-Mart. That's always exciting. Grace kept saying "I want watch" so Mammee bought Grace a cute watch with flowers and a new outfit. Her outfit has the Little Mermaid on it. She just loves her new watch. I think she likes the fashion statement she makes with it.Or maybe she really is telling time...
It's a house that's been converted into a restaurant and they have the best barbeque ever.
After David got off work, we ate dinner at one of our local favorite restaurants - Moe's Barbeque.
You walk in the door and order at the window. Their sweet potato casserole and banana pudding is fabulous. I could eat just those two things and be happy as can be.
The menu's written on the wall. They give you a ton of food on the platters.
Tax and drinks are included.
After that BIG dinner, we decided to take a walk on the boardwalk at Village Point Park Preserve.
It's in walking distance from Moe's.
Beware of alligators and snakes!
It's a beautiful area where you can see nature in all its splendor.
There are some streams here that feed into the bay.
In some places the water is kinda marshy but you can see alligators in their natural habitat. Very neat.
Grace likes to run ahead and wait for us to catch up with her.
Mammee did a great job of keeping up. We closed out the day at the park's pier.
There's Pappy enjoying the sunset.
Mammee and Grace.
And Pappy and Mammee and Grace. Another great day full of memories to cherish forever.
