Fishing: A timeless art passed from generation to generation

David decided to take his little brother-in-law fishing on afternoon.
First, they had to catch their bait. They used the traditional cast net.And caught some shrimp.Next, the shrimp had to go into the bucket.Grace helped by picking them up one at a time. And then dropped them into the water. She likes picking up the shrimp. She's fearless. Then Chloe came along to investigate the little jumpers. No, Chloe, you can't eat the little shrimpies. They are destined for greater things. Then Seth throws the cast net.He has an innate knack for it.He caught a little fish.Who was pretty stuck in the net. They finally let him go free again. After a few more tosses, there's enough shrimp to start the fishing. David calmly baits his hook.
Look out - Seth has a big one!
It's all seaweed.Maybe a ceremonial fishing dance will improve his luck.
Looks like it worked, he caught one! But he's too little to keep, so back into the bay he goes. The next couple of hours are spent fishing off the pier as the sun sets.Calmly tossing the rods.
Then reeling the line back in.
The sunset was pretty incredible.
Spectacular, in fact.
Please note, that the men did not catch dinner, but this author caught the first fish.
And a stingray. Impressive, if I do say so myself.
