Mammee and Pappy's visit: Day 2

Today was Sunday so we all got up and dressed and went to church. We went to Eastern Shore Presbyterian in Fairhope today. David's mom and dad came all the way to Daphne, Alabama from Charlotte, North Carolina and they knew the preacher in Fairhope. It's such a small world sometimes. Here we are ready to go to church.Grace gives Chloe a goodbye kiss. On the mouth. I know you're thinking GROSS! Me, too.David calmly explains to Grace, again, that she shouldn't kiss puppies on the mouth.Mammee and Grace all dressed up and ready to go.
After church, we changed into some comfy clothes and headed back to Fairhope. We stopped for lunch at Wintzell's Oyster House. It was the first time we'd ever eaten there. Mammee and Pappy sat on the swing while David turned the AC on in the car.

Afterwards, we went to the Fairhope beach. It's very serene there.
Grace played with her "shub-ball" and bucket. And chattered away to no one in particular about the "sans" (sand) and her "shub-ball" (shovel).
She was gracious enough to smile for the camera.
Mammee played with Grace.
Grace likes to run on the beach. And away from the camera.
Grace poured lots of sand into the water.
David and his dad took in the view.
It was a beautiful day.
It was quite refreshing to dip your toes in the warm water. After a while, we headed home.
Later we went out to our pier. Grace gave Mammee and Pappy kisses.
And Grace threw more rocks into the water.
Mammee threw the cast net a few times, but didn't catch dinner that night.

Pappy did his stretches and then we all went inside for the night. It was a pretty awesome day.
