Easter egg hunt

Soon after enjoying the activities offered at the park, it was time for the egg hunts to begin.
So David carried the girls over to the field where the eggs were being "hidden."
The local fire department had huge boxes full of eggs and they just sort of scattered them about.
There were thougsands of eggs for each age group.
Here Faith is ready for her first egg hunt!
 I helped Faith find eggs.
 So did Grace.
Faith wasn't quite sure what to do with her eggs.
Grace patiently explained that there were surprises inside the eggs.
And Grace showed her how to open the eggs.
Don't my girls look so sweet wearing their matching dresses?
Grace tried to sneak a few eggs from Faith.
 And Faith snuck some candy.
She was quite sneaky about it.
And tried using her feet to distract everyone from the candy she tried to stuff in her mouth, wrapper and all.
Grace and Daddy had the same reaction time.  Poor Faith.  No candy at her first egg hunt.  Maybe next year.
Grace helped Faith collect so many eggs that she wasn't interested in collecting more with her age group.
That was fine by me.  Now I have to figure out how to hide all this candy from them...
But we had another wonderful day together and I am so thankful for that.
