Today, Grace and I played at the local park in Daphne.
It's a beautiful area, nice and shady with a lot of things to play on.
There's the standard little playground set.
Which Grace quickly mastered.
And then there's these dinosaur climbing things. Grace wasn't too interested in them.
And several of these bouncy things.

And "fee-ngs" of course.
It wasn't long before she wanted to ride the big kids swing.
She did much better than I expected - she didn't fall off even once!
All over the park are these huge old oak trees. But what Grace saw was the BIG slide.
What does she decide to do?
Climb up it, of course!
Look, Mommy, no hands! And my heart plummeted to the ground.
But she didn't fall.
She just slid down like she had done it a thousand times before. She didn't care that it was 10 feet high.
She did squeal with delight all the way down.
