Today we went to Lulu's for the afternoon.
Grace was so sweet as she waited patiently for our food.
Grace and I split a cheeseburger.
And fries, of course.
Then we headed to the sand for some fun.
Faith was content to sit in her carseat for a while.
Mammee came with us, too.
I moved some chairs under the palm trees to keep us in the shade. Grace insisted on the pink chair for herself. No surprise there. I've never seen a kid like pink more than her.
It didn't take long for Mammee to get Faith out of her carseat. She just couldn't resist.
Faith was surprisingly good all afternoon. She really likes the warmer weather.
Every so often Grace would run back to her pink chair and plop down in it. I think she was afraid it might walk off or something. Or maybe I would try to sit in it. That was a big no-no.
We put Faith in the sand, too.
Grace buried Faith's little toes.
Faith didn't seem to mind.
Such sisterly love!
Then Grace found a "bid sur-cull!" (big circle!)
She tried to hula.
Mammee showed her how.
Then Faith and I tried to hula, too. We aren't nearly as good as Mammee. She could win awards.
While Mammee cleaned up in the restroom, Grace played with this.
She really like circles.
After Lulu's we headed to the Foley outlets where Grace convinced me to buy her a "pin-suss town and ma-shick wund" (princess crown and magic wand).
Her birthday is is a couple of days...
Every little girl needs a crown now and again. Don't you think?
